Kylo Ren and Chewbacca at DHS

Are they available to meet for the foreseeable future? We are going early May and as a Star Wars nut, I'm pretty excited about the Star War Launch Bay

For the foreseeable future yes. I don't see them going any where until after SW land is opened and then they'll just move. They should start promos for Episode 8 soon so I imagine Kylo will be sticking around.

I would say it is safe bet that they will be there till SW Land opens. I would hope and expect once SW Land opens that they would add some others for meets.

It is a completely different line and only during certain times of the day. We missed the Visa meet by like 15 minutes last time we were at DHS.

Chewbacca doesn't have a Visa card line. It's Kylo only

There's regular Chewbacca, regular Kylo, Visa Kylo

Kylo's line was only 10-15 minutes on Tuesday this week, when Chewie's was 30-45 minutes.

I did the Visa meet n greet with Kylo...He didn't like my R2D2 shirt...He was very grumbly about it...It was humorous

Haha how cool! I take it he does a lot of interacting? I remembering meeting Vader at SWW +/- 10 years ago and I'm pretty sure we had a fun conversation!

Both were pretty interactive...Kylo Ren more so because he talks...The mask is little creepy, although I also wanted to laugh because he was throwing a wee bit of a fit about R2D2

Not only Kylo, but the CM's and Photopass person were all quite snippy with us. Not sure if they were all having a bad day or if it's part of the act. Didn't care for the photographer saying to us "You need to get over near Kylo now, or you wont get a picture".

WOW!! Our m&g w/ Kiylo was pretty good. Son had on a Vader sweatshirt, so some play there. The handler and photographer were really good. Sounds like you had the cast members when we did Mike and Sully a few years back, rude and rushed the whole thing

That's too bad. My little Grandsons would love to meet Chewie, Kylo not so much. I have the Disney Visa, but I don't think we want to wait 45 minutes for Chewie. The boys will only be on the parks for 3 days and we'll need to conserve our time.

If you go early or late, it'll be a short wait. During the day though check by because it's not uncommon for it to be 15-20 min

We were there last week and DH waited 20 minutes for each. He had a great experience with both and the pictures are priceless!

But now I'm wondering if it's part of the act...but if it is part of the act, they need to add a little snippy humor (instead of just straight-up snippy) or go overboard (like Tower of Terror). Hmm. Now I'm wondering if it was intentional. Does anybody else share this experience?

It can be snippy. We knew what to expect going in so didn't feel put off but there was a lot of you may get a photo if Kylo deans you worth and do not cross the line until you are summoned. A little more direct and somewhat snippy then most greets.

CM that are with Kylo Ren are also part of the First Order, you won't (or shouldn't) get many smiles or cute conversation. It's all part of the theme. That's why a lot of people find meeting Kylo to be intimidating, even more so than what used to happen with Vader
