Kudos to the Dolphin!

Hi All,

We're just back from my in-laws 50th anniversary trip. It was their first time in DisneyWorld and I have to thank all of the people here for their tips and suggestions.

When my MIL checked into the Dolphin, she didn't have any problems. I had prepaid everything. They had a notation about their 50th anniversary on the reservation, and I had reminded my MIL to bring her Starwoods number as well as her government ID. She's a retired teacher who was hired by the EPA to provide informational lectures to students and community groups.

So, she gives her ID, and she gives her number, and the lovely young woman at the guest said "let's get you a better room." So, they were given a great room on the 7th floor - newly renovated! It was heavenly! They had a great balcony and their view was awesome.

My MIL and FIL can't say enough good things about the Dolphin. The staff was courteous and professional, the room was beyond their expectations, and they insist that they will return.

So thanks again to everyone here, and to Dreams Unlimited for booking the room - everything went very smoothly!

Great news!

We're staying in the Dolphin with the Teacher's Rate. We too have the Starwoods Points, so maybe we'll be as lucky with the upgrade as well.

So where the rooms heavenly after all? I've already asked for a renovated room.

I have to agree - the Dolphin and Staff are GREAT!!

We just returned from a week there and can not say enough good things. We went on AP rate and got EVERY request!!!

Not only that, the rooms were lovely and the service was impeccable!! What a GREAT hotel!
