Kudos to MS for their new hours!

Has anyone else found that it seems to be easier to get through to MS lately? I've called MS Monday and yesterday (amending ressies) and both times, I was immediately put through to a CM! On a Monday and a Tuesday morning??? I had resigned myself to wait, since I felt it was important enough, but what a pleasant surprise!
I think the newly expanded hours may have been responsible. What do you think?

I've only called MS once, for a dining ressie, since the new hours have been in effect. I got through immediately as well, last week.

It could also be due to the enforcement of point transfers. Less people calling in to do point transfers and less people calling in to rent out those transferred points.

I agree, it has been much quicker!!!

I agree that week days are faster but i made 3 calls on saturday for reservations and waited 30 min. the first time and 20 min. the 2nd time & 3rd time. With saturday open you can't wait for monday anymore if a guest calls friday.

Member Services Hours:
9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. EST on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays;
9 a.m.-10 p.m. EST on Thursdays; and
1-5 p.m. EST on Saturdays.

Normally, I never have a wait when I call MS until this AM. I was on hold for 7 minutes. No biggie! I had the time to wait but found it ironic that I read your thread right after getting off the phone. Thank goodness for the new hours or my wait would probably have been even longer. (Glass is always half full!) A recording kept coming on stating they are experiencing heavier than normal call volume due to members scheduling trips for the upcoming holidays.
