We were at DLR in early Dec. and bought a few Christmas presents for our boys. Gave our 12 year old a really cool Capt. Jack action figure. He opened it Christmas morning and in the furor of toys and stuff and putting it together - it came apart. (Capt. Jack's butt fell off!
Which is bad, because it holds his legs on!
) I put it on the back burner for a little while - too much going on, but had DS save all of the packaging and all of the pieces, just in case.
Last week (around Jan 12, I think) I called DeliverEars. I had saved my receipt from the purchase, so I had the phone number and the item number. I spoke to Maxine and she was soooooo great. She asked what happened and I explained it all, told her it was my DS's and she said - Don't ship it back to us, we will just send out a new one - addressed to DS - and I could just throw the other one away!
Talk about cool - I was prepared to ship the other one back for an exchange or whatever - but I didn't have to go through the hassle. It arrived yesterday by UPS and was addressed to DS, who was delighted to get it and thought it was pretty cool that it had his name on it. He put it all together and no problem with Capt. Jack's butt this time.
Just a big fan of the help I got from DeliverEars and how easy the process was. It only took a week to get to us, even though I was told to expect 10 working days. Yay! A little piece of Disney Magic in January.
