My family, including my son with Asperger's, went to Cirque de Soleil's "La Nouba" show last tuesday. As we were entering, my son asked the usher whether the show was loud. She replied yes, and that there were earplugs at the side of the concession stand. Having left his in the car and only minutes until showtime, we went and asked and were given a pair for him.

The show was GREAT--we all enjoyed it immensely, due in part to the earplugs.

BTW, for anyone with stranger issues, sit in the upper section, above the aisle (as high as your sensitivity dictates)--the performers come into the main aisleway at the beginning and a few points during the show.

Way cool! We went to Cirque last year. We remembered our earplugs, but it's nice to know they were on top of things if we hadn't.

I don't think so but it really is a personal preference. I'm sure my DN ,who also has aspergers, would hate the noise too.
If you want to talk loud let's talk about Blueman Group. Even with earplugs THAT was loud but fun.
