We rented points last year and had a fantastic time, but purchased our tickets at SoG. On our next trip we are thinking of starting out at *** and renting points for ***, but purchasing park tickets for 9 days or so. Would we be able to get the park tickets on the KTTW card? Or would we have separate tickets? TIA!

You could put them on your KTTW for the first part of your stay, but it might be hard to move the remaining days to a new KTTW.

Would we HAVE to move them or could we just use that card for the remainder of the trip?

On that note, how does one go about getting park tickets when renting points? Buy through member? Or when we arrive & check in?

Thanks for the reply!

I haven't heard reports of being able to move tickets from a KTWC to another one- you can either use the first room j\key for the whole trip or just use the actual tickets you will get instead of adding them to a room key.

You can buy your tickets through Disney or any of the discount brokers- I reccomend going with a broker recommended by this or another large disney site rather than just looking for the lowest priced one on the web.

I have heard that people have had the tickets transferred but some reports have indicated things happened and they spent extra time trying to get it fixed. If it were me, I would just keep the tickets on the original KTTW card and label them with a Sharpie that just says TICKET and carry both.

In terms of tickets, you are on your own for those and can get them anywhere. I ordered this summer from Undercover Tourist which gives you a slight discount.

Wait - i didn't realize you could add non-disney-purchased tickets to your KTTW cards?! We always had our SoG tix and KTTW card separate - you're saying we could have had them put on? Man...the things DIS tells you! :goodvibes

You definitely can add regular tickets (even those purchased from a broker) to a KTTW at the concierge desk, provided the Cast Member knows what they are doing and the equipment is working. I'm sure sometimes it doesn't work, but I think it's likely to be the rare exception.

That said, I like to keep mine separate. That way, I can be "fast pass volunteer" and go get FPs for the family without preventing anyone else from being able to charge something to the room. In fact, once we clear the turnstiles, I hold everyone's tickets for the rest of the time in the park.

Thanks for the info, everyone!

Great idea Brian to keep them separate, but it's just DH and I currently (and 1 on the way!) and the next trip will be the 3 of us, so I'm not going to worry too much about keeping them separate.

Well, in my case, the only person who really cares is my wife---the kids can't charge. It's still helpful for me to have her ticket without her being unable to charge to the room.
