KTTW Card - receipts for charges?

When in WDW and you charge something to your room via the KTTW card you get a receipt. Is this the same on the ship? Will I get a receipt everytime (or at all) when something is charged to our stateroom?

As I recall, you get a receipt if you buy something in the shops, however, I believe when you order something to drink, they don't provide one unless you ask......Andy
