Thank you! I'm feeling a bit less volatile today. I'm thinking the hormones may have had a LOT to do with it.

I officially have the dress alterations scheduled for next Thursday. This feels so OFFICIAL now! I'm a little freaked out!

Vicky and Seth booked their trip yesterday and I'm SO excited. While they've been to Disney before, obviously the kids haven't. I love watching kids interact with the characters and what, but to watch two kids that I adore at Disney? I'm over the moon about it.

Okay, off to look for a garter, before I forget!

BUT, girl, chin up: in your darker moments, just remember that you are GETTING MARRIED IN DISNEY WORLD! Even better than that, you are a Disbride, which means you are part of the best online community out there.

And, I'm sorry, Doug's mom just needs a slap upside the head. You are NOT allowed to cater to her on your wedding day. Nope. I will not allow it.

Also, how are you getting to Le Cellier on your wedding day? I think if I were you, I would definitely fork over the $15ish for a cab: just a token of advice though!

Did you order your rhinestones from PeaceLoveRhinestones? If so, it took her over two MONTHS to get me mine. Uh huh. GRRRR.

Aww, Jackie, your reply made me teary. In the good way! The past 24 hours have been slightly better. I guess the past week was majorly influenced by hormones. Ugh! But seriously - thank you.

Disbrides are the best!

I've decided a new way to comfort myself when stressing - picturing cute animals. It worked this morning at least. I started out with penguins. Which led to dogs. Then corgis, chubby corgis, then finally corgis in costumes. Which made me forget the financial stress. Because who doesn't love a corgi dressed as Thor?

Yeah. Doug's mom? She just goes on and on and on. Usually about the cats. And I know that if some poor unfortunate stranger winds up sitting next to her on the plane, they're gonna spend that 3 hour flight hearing about the cats. Or the herbalife stuff that she sells. That person's gonna be getting off the plane and hitting a bar right after. Seriously.

We're likely going to get a taxi, because my anxiety'll be through the roof on the bus system that day.

I got the rhinestones from TheZBoutique since she had decent prices. I definitely should've looked past the first few pages of reviews, since while they were still positive, more than a few mentioned the time it took to get them.

I'm so excited just to post pictures of me in the dress! I'll finally get to feel like one of the cool kids!

Is everyone sitting down for this? I have dress pictures! And an appointment for alterations! This is all really happening!

Vicky, my MoH, made me promise to tell you guys this: she apologizes for the picture quality; it was like 11pm last night after her son's birthday party and that her house was a bit messy and that we're both the same height, so it was hard to get good pictures.

(This is the picture where I realized a little while ago that a good deal of my weight gain has gone to my face and this makes me very sad. I've always had chubby cheeks, but my face has never been so round!)

So, here's what Doug did tonight. Since he wasn't really thrilled by the current option of the Mickey groom hat ears, I used a bit of lurkyloo's tutorial to piece together our own...

I realized afterwards that we could've just attached the ear hat to the baseball cap, but hey, if it doesn't work (read: survive being worn around the house for a few hours tomorrow), we'll do that next.

I also realized while I was uploading pics that I never posted the outside part of the invites. Instead of going out and spending like $15 on the paper punch of the castle, I found a girl that was selling the punch outs for cheap on Etsy, so I bought those. (I will have some extras, so if anyone's interested, just let me know, and I'll send them to you) So yeah, here's the outside of the invitations -

And I also found this one on my camera, too. This is Penny. She's one very, very spoiled boxer. She's a big sweetheart and loves to kiss everyone, and 'tap dances' when she's excited. Which is often.

So far, so good! I think I want to get some of sort of reinforcement for the ears. We just used the hot glue gun, and I'm not 100% confident that they're gonna hold. The hat and the front part seem pretty good, but the ears seem a bit wobbly. That and I worry about them surviving the plane ride down. (On a side note - thank goodness for Southwest's no baggage fees! I feel like we accumulate more stuff to bring down every week! )

Aww, thanks, Deena! If I could wear the dress around the house right now without risk of damaging it or anything, I totally would. I absolutely feel like royalty in it. (And for the girl who fully intends on being queen of the world one day, this is very important! )

And after Penny got over her fear of Baxter (because Penny's a bit of a wuss dog), I bet they'd get along fantastically
