We're doing the Vancouver to San Diego in September, does anyone know if they serve KK's on the Wonder when she's on the west coast? TIA

Can't say for sure whether the Wonder will have them or not, but I'll just point out when DCL does have them they aren't "fresh". They are frozen. Then thawed for service. We're going to be on the same cruise as you! oooh I had no idea DCL served KK donuts! If you find out beforehand that our cruise won't have any I can always go to our local KK shop (about 15 minutes from home) and buy a few boxes for our fellow cruise passengers LOL
I'm not saying it's a bad idea but I've sailed on the Wonder four times and never heard of this before.

We had them on the Wonder last Easter and my understanding is they have them on the Alaskan cruises. They were at Pinocchio's Pizza. They have cinnamon raisin and regular
We had them on the Wonder in Alaska, but that was almost three years ago, so obviously it might have changed. Hopefully someone who has sailed to Alaska recently can confirm. But to second what Princess Schmoo said, they aren't fresh. They freeze them and then thaw them out prior to serving. I thought they were ok, but they definitely don't taste like the ones you get from a local KK store, or even the grocery store. Still, I guess a thawed KK is better than no KK!!
I think she was referring to the pretzels.I used to work less than a mile from the original KK store, and I have NEVER seen "cinnamon raisin" donuts.

Again, I believe the poster that you're quoting is talking about the pretzels, not Krispy Kremes. My DS11 will be so happy! I just told him today he couldn't have KK doughnuts because of all the sweets will be having on cruise. He will love to hear that his beloved KK can be among them!
Oh, sorry. I missed the change from delicious donuts to mediocre things like pretzels.(NOT a pretzel fan.)
You might not be able to enjoy them on board... but you can get some in Vancouver suburb...We're doing the Vancouver to San Diego in September, does anyone know if they serve KK's on the Wonder when she's on the west coast? TIA
I had similar thoughts until I made my first visit...Never understood the draw, but especially on a ship with a bakery, I would expect fresh hot made on the ship donuts, not some frozen store donut. I never saw them on board, but it doesn't mean they weren't there.
I love soft pretzels but, yes, they pale in the shadow of the glory of Krispy Kreme's.Oh, sorry. I missed the change from delicious donuts to mediocre things like pretzels.(NOT a pretzel fan.)
