Krispy Kreme Run

OK guys I am back in town and ready to organize a Krispy Kreme meet!

According to the schedule we are on for Saturday, December 7.

Since the night before is the Illuminations Party followed by the Adventure's Club I don't want to do this too early! So I was thinking 8 am (but I am willing to change!) NOTE: Time change to allow for AK meet. Those of us who have passed out from the night before can go back and take a nap!

So I need to know the following:

1. Do you want to participate?
2. Do you want to travel to KK or have the donuts transported to you? Barb has volunteered to allow us to use her DVC room with the coffee maker.
3. If you want to travel, do you have a car? If so, how many extra DIS people can you transport?
4. If you want delivery, how many donuts do you think you can eat?

Once I get these reponses I will formulate a plan that will attempt to make most responders happy.

I am willing to drive to/from Krispy Kreme if you want me to pickup the donuts. Since I am driving a Saturn Sport Coupe, I am limited in the number of passengers I can accommodate. I am already committed to making at least one Taco Bell run, so adding a donut run (or two) would not be out of the question.

Carol, I was wanting to do this...however I am going to be doing the AK Meet which is at 9AM. If you decide to do it earlier, let me know and I will love to do this.

After spending a few minutes trying to figure out which mini meets I want to do, I have adjusted this to 8 am. That way you can grab a donut on your way to the AK!!!! (I love AK!)

I am so in for this! I won't have a car, hence offering my room. (it's my sneaky way of making sure you all bring me back some KK's!) I can probably eat 2 or 3, depending on what kind they are. If they're just the glazed, 3 will probably do it. If they're are sweeter (like chocolate frosted), 2 will be my limit.

I also have to say that I really prefer the regular glazed ones and would probably be able to do 2 or 3 of those.......
but if not , 2 of any other kind!!!! (obviously I don't dislike this kind either!)
I will volunteer to bring a couple of cups!

I think that we should stick to one or two kinds of donuts since otherwise it will be a nightmare! I think that the glazed are the "true" KK, but the choclate frosted is always good!

Hey Barb, Since I don't drink coffee...I will save my starter packs from VWL & BWV and the ones from the cleaning day...that will at least give us a few packs of coffee.

By the way Rog & I will have 3 each too

I wont be driving whilst in WDW but would really like to fetch them so if anyone could fit me in there car?......there's a donut in it for ya!

I dont mind which donuts we have, i love the glazed ones but i am 'willing' to try others too

Glazed works for me! There's nothing like a good glazed donut and a cupa coffee to start the day off right!

I can drive (not sure the size car I will be picking up though)If there is a COOL sports car on the aisle I just might go WILD but since I will we wanting at least 1 doz......I help transport as many people or dounts as possible...

MMmmmmmm - warm, glazed KK donuts! That was our favorite stop last February - it was just around the corner from our condo. Are you talking about the KK near Poinciana Blvd? That's the only one I remember along 197(?). We're in for a dozen - they'll keep for a snack on Sunday. We won't have a car, so can't help on that end.

Oh - John - when is your Taco Bell run?

Sounds like a fun meet. I won't have a car but I'm sure that I could help Barb and Corinne with the coffee

As for how many KK's I culd eat....I've never had one so I really don't know.

The Taco Bell run is an unplanned and as yet unscheduled event. I'm just the driver. I'll leave it up to someone else to pick a time.

Not a big donut fan. Actually I LOVE glazed donuts, but they don't like me. Makes my tummy sick.

I can definitely drive- I want to be there when the "HOT" sign is on. I probably can take 3 people with me- we can use the trunk for the umpteen dozen donuts we'll bring back. I think we should just get the original glazed to make things easy.

I could go for a glazed KK or 2. I won't have a car, so I can't drive. If there's room in a car to tag along, I could go; if not, I can stay. I'm flexible.
