Is it true they are served at some of the onsite restaurants and if so which places? We have breakfast ressies at CP, Princess Breakfast, 1900 Park Fare

I think I heard something about it being served at Donald's Breakfastosaurus a few years ago in AKL. I don't know how true this is, so feel free to correct me. I love Krispy Kremes!

It would be better if they served Dunkin' Donuts. The Krispy Kreme store near me went out of business after less than two years. ;)

They had them at CapeMay. But watch out both times we ate there they disappered quickly, I mean the whole platter.

They have them at the WL in Roaring Forks, The Fun and Food Center at CR, and Captain Cooks in the Poly. We get them every trip!

They were $1.99 at the Main Street Bakery. I only saw the glazed variety.

Wow! They are under $1 at the Poly in Captain Cooks. What a rip off at the bakery!

Seriously?!? Maybe it's a Southern thing, cause it's the opposite here - Krispy Kremes are everywhere, and are very profitable (a friend of mine franchised one and does VERY well)!! I loathe Dunkin Donuts.....actually don't know anyone who likes them. Chalk it up to "cultural differences". ;)

But anyway, Roaring Forks at WL is yes to that, if I remember correctly. :thumbsup2

Hi Paul! :teeth: :wave2:

Sounds like we are neighbors! We now have to go to Mohegan Sun for our Krispy Kreme fix. :rotfl: I wonder what they are putting in the old Krispy Kreme building? It looks like they are putting something in. :confused3

:sunny:

all the KK's closed here in Houston. It wasn't due to lack of business but had something to do with a lawsuit w/ owners. They changed the name on all of them then shortly after they all closed. They got what they deserved. How dare they take away our KK's!

Not a southern thing! I live in the mid Atlantic and there are KKS everywhere. I hate Dunkin Donuts. The KK stores are doing better then the DD stores.

We live in NY and had 4 near our house ~ all are now closed. I went to PA to Sesame Place and that one was closed as well. Donalds Breakfastauraus has them.

I grew up in Boston so Dunkin Donuts were it for us! When I moved to FL 16 years ago and had my first Krispy Kreme that was it for me! My mom who still lives in Boston said they opened up 2 KK stores and they went under within a year....the locals are hard core DD fans..same with Starbucks coffee.....when I went back to visit this past May I could not find a Starbucks to save my life, DD tastes too weak for me....

We had Krispy Kreme's on Long Island and some of the local stores would get them fresh every day. They are all closed now. DS was eating the donuts at Cape May's breakfast this past Friday and said they tasted like KK's, I guess they were!! DH bought a dozen to take home in the airport as we can't get them anymore.

Well, then again, Maryland is technically south of the Mason Dixon line! :rotfl: Looks like it's New England that's into the DD's.

lol the donut wars... i love them both. I just opened up the front page of the Boston Globe, which features how DD is expanding in to the south. One store opened last week and sold out within a few hours (all the donuts that is - 642 dozen, people consumed 14,000 donuts). The article said that the new franchises that open up in the south are doing very well. I wanted Krispy Kreme up north but they didn't seem to expand enough in the right places, there was a lot of hype but not enough of them to cover the hype up here in New England. I think that's why it didn't last. I guess we'll just have to eat them while we're at Disney then.

They are offered at Picabu at the Dolphin....at least they always have been in the past. They have their own case and everything...
