Kraft Deluxe Macaroni and Cheese

Okay, my daughter is going to school in Leeds. As soon as her flatmates found out she was from the U.S. they said "have your parents send you some Kraft Deluxe Macaroni and Cheese". So we did, crazy paying $40 to ship 2 $2.25 boxes. Then I do some searching, and in the UK this same box sells for £15.21 ($24.90)

Why is it so expensive in the UK? And why is it in such demand with college students? We make our Macaroni and Cheese from scratch here at home, so we normally don't buy the pre-packaged stuff.

Next time dump the pasta part in tupperware & just send the cheese part. We did that when my sister lived out of the country

And idea for sure, but all the weight is in the foil cheese pouch.

Kraft Mac & Cheese is the best , we do have packet versions over here but I find they are very bland compared to the American ones. If it wasn't for this darn diet , I'd have a cupboard full of it , I will be bringing a few boxes back with me next September.
