Kracov Disney Chess Set

Back in 1999 we purchased a David Kracov chess set at the former Disney Gallery in Las Vegas. It was one of only 10 made, and one of our most expensive investments. Most of our collection is made up of inexpensive items we like and purchase at the parks, etc. This is one of the exceptions. According to the Kracov website it has increased significantly in value. Anyone have suggestions of a reputable gallery to contact about selling it??

If you sell it outright you wouldn't have to pay a commission percentage to a Gallery, and a collectors brokerage wouldn't give you fair market value.

You might want to try Martha's Disneyana Exchange. You set the amount that you want. She then does a markup and lists it both on her site and in her newsletter. When someone contacts her to buy it, she checks with you that it is still available, has you ship her the item and ollects from the buyer. She will verify it is as stated and undamaged, repack it and ship it to the buyer. After several days waiting she will then send you a check for the amount you asked for. She has been in business for years.
