Opinions please. We have ressies here for upcoming trip. Menu looked interesting. DH likes bakluva so he was agreeable to trying it! Will we like the food?

I liked it. I've read a lot of negative and positive reviews for it though. I think if you like Greek food or trying new things, then chances are you'll probably like it.

We like it, been there twice. Loved the Pork T-bone didn't know there was such a thing so i had to try it...delicious! The desserts were great..Baklava was great, not the best, but still good. I've had the lamb shank there too, very good. My wife loves the fishermans stew. I would go again.

We ate there last week and would not return. I enjoyed my Pastitsio but was extremely disappointed with my Baklava. My wife and 2 sons all had the Fisherman's Stew and it was salted to the point of being almost inedible. Not sure if this is the way it is always made but if it was a mistake then someone should be tasting the sauces before they serve the meals.

As you can see our experience differs from others so I would still recommend you try it for yourself.

We enjoyed it very much....worth it just to go and get the sample platter and salads. I had a combination plate with lamb, greek lasagna and cinnamon chicken....oved all the flavors.

I really liked the whole fish, it was one of the best meals I have had in Disney in many years. It was worth it even when I was paying for it OOP.

I was not as impressed with starters or the desserts, hopefully those have improved since last Year..

I know I said I liked the Baklava, but last time we had it, it tasted like there was too much cinnamon, I like cinnamon so it didn't bother me.

We love Greek food and are very adventurous travelers/eaters. We were disappointed in Kouzzina. I'm in my 50's and this is the first time in my life I was served something I could not eat at all (and the dish I chose was the waiter's recommendation). We were a group of 4 adults and reviews were mixed at best.

Service was horribly slow. Our waiter was very nice but we were seated 45-50 minutes past our ADR and the service didn't get any better from that point.

We had a great dinner there and will be back. I had the whole fish, which was amazing. My husband had the fisherman's stew, which he loved. My son had the greek lasagna, and I took a bite and it was wonderful. It's not everyone's cup of tea, but we loved it. It's a gorgeous restaurant, as well!

We ate there for breakfast last September while staying at Boardwalk. It was okay. We practically had the place to ourselves.

We ate there in Aug. and it was really good. The service was also really good. We didn't have any of their desserts so can't comment on them. The appetizers were on the skimpy side.

I have to ask... you sent it back, right? Because that's the only way for the kitchen to know and correct the problem.

Whether something is over-salted by accident or just not to your taste, don't people inform their waiter and have the situation corrected? I'm always astonished at people who say that their dinner was inedible... unless they have made an attempt to correct the problem. :confused3 Am I missing something here?

I have enjoyed the meals I have had at Kouzzina, but you can bet if they served me something that I couldn't eat...well, back it goes! :thumbsup2

I have to agree; I eat out all the time. But not all people eat out at a bit more adventurous restaurants.

I am lucky to eat in a few places around town and I cannot even count on both hands how many times I had to send something back. That being said......

My opinion, for what it's worth, is that a great deal of people get a chance to try out more table services due to free dining and are probably not used to eating out a great deal. They are not used to the way food may be prepared, served, or presented. I don't think they know that if something is not prepared to their liking, they can send it back.

I have to say, when I looked at the menu at Kouzzina's, I was completely impressed with the choices. The service was fabulous. I loved the hustle and bustle of the restaurant.

I was recommended to try the Pastisio (spelling?), and I looked and thought cinnamon with ground meat; what an interesting taste. The woman at the table next to me balked about having cinnamon in her lasanga - which is sort-of what the dish is. But it is not just adding a bunch of cinnamon into a bowl of meat; the cinnamon is infused into the meat. It was outrageously good.

Every trip I will be going to Kouzzina's. :woohoo:
