This morning I went to Kouzzina for breakfast. It was a nice meal, and I would definitely have breakfast there again.

Spoodles had a map of the Mediterranean in its entrance - this hasn't changed, and I think it's a nice touch.

I ordered the frappe drink, which is iced coffee with milk and sugar. It was creamy and very tasty.

Here's the stacked breakfast: poached eggs with kalamata olive toast, artichoke spread, sweet potato hash, and chicken sausage (you can choose bacon instead of the sausage). I would get this again, it was a nice breakfast course. :thumbsup2

That's pretty much it. I'm looking forward to trying the dinner here someday, as the menu is a refreshing change from Spoodles while still maintaining the Mediterranean flavors.

Hopefully more people will post their pics and reviews!

wow - thanks for the review and pics! They still have that awful bench to sit on in the waiting area I see, lol.

We have ADR's for Kouzzina for breakfast and dinner in October so I am looking forward to hearing all about everyone's experiences beforehand.

Did it look like the decor of the restaurant changed at all? I wouldn't imagine it could that much, given the small turnover time. Did you happen to notice if there was a bar area now? I would love it if there were, as we would love to do drinks/apps there vs the actual dinner, but I doubt they did add anything...

I would really like to know if they've put in a bar. I'm not holding my breath though.

The decor is definitely similar to Spoodles, although it seems like the dining room has a new paint scheme and a little bit less "clutter" on the walls. Overall, not much has changed.

And sorry, but I didn't notice if a bar area was added or not.

We are booked for Dinner on "opening night" for dinner. Can't Wait!!!!

There is a soft opening running as of now. The "grand opening" is on September 17. You can make reservations for the soft opening. You have to call - Kouzzina reservations can't be made online yet.

Thanks for the pics and your comments. Anybody here had dinner there yet?":earsboy:

I believe they started service today - and they probably haven't opened for dinner service yet - give 'em some time.

Thank you for the pictures! Does anyone know if they're keeping the Pizza Window? I'm looking forward to eating there in October!!:thumbsup2

That breakfast looks very different and delicious! Can't wait to see dinner pics and reviews!!!

Thanks for sharing!!

I read the menus on All Ears. Did not see kids' menus though, and I am curious about those. This place is a definite possibility for us...so easy when staying at BWV!

Yay for the first review!!! We have reservations for Dinner 6:30pm! on August 29th so excited!

Thanks OP! We're going to be there when it officially opens (9-12 to 9-23) but haven't decided if we are going to try it. I did notice that it is now listed on the WDW website but you do still have to call to reserve. I'm waiting to read about the dinners before I fully decide.

Breakfast looked good though! :goodvibes

While it will be fun to see pics and read reviews of the new rest. I feel sad that Spoodles is gone:sad2: Had one of the most happy memorable family meals of my lifetime there....
