I'm headed down to Disney in a little over a week (SO EXCITED!! :yay:) and am trying out Kouzzina for the first time. Everyone in my group loves greek and mediterranean food (we loved spoodles before it started to go downhill) but we haven't heard much hype about it.

I would love to get some opinions on it... Is it worth going? Was there any dish you loved or would definitely avoid?

Thanks!

We ate there NYE last year and had a great meal, with great service(I'm greek!). Open kitchen is fun(was there with spoodles also). My sister ate there 2x in april once for dinner and once for breakfast and also really liked it. I had calamari appt as meal and salad. DH had steak. We both loved our desserts also(but not as good as my Mom used to make).

After reading some mixed reviews my family and I went to Kouzinna with no expectations. We were staying at BWV, it was the day we arrived and Mother's Day as well. When we entered I (as a Mom) was given a carnation and that started the dinner off well. We were all happily surprized for the rest of the meal. All of our food came out hot, service was good and the main courses were delicious. I had the seafood stew dish (forget the name) and it was wonderful. I forget what my DH had, but he liked it. My DH and I also ordered dessert, which we rarely do, and the warm chocolate cake was the best dessert that we had in WDW our entire stay. We both said we would go back there just for the chocolate cake.

I really enjoyed both breakfast and dinner there on my last trip and look forward to returning. The pastitsio I had for dinner while I was there was one of the most pleasantly surprising "hits" of the vacation for me. I think that since your group enjoys Mediterranean flavors, it's definitely worth checking out.

Add another Greek girl that enjoys Kouzzina :) My mom and I went last year and really enjoyed it. It was slightly different than traditional Greek food but we both enjoyed everything. I had the lamb shank and my mom had the pasticio. The head chef came by to make sure everything was perfect, especially after she found out we were all Greek.
