I tried it a couple of weeks ago. The food is very good, not excellent. I had the spinach pie and my hubby had the grape leaf for appetizer (both yummy). My husband had the lamb shank and I had the flank steak. Shank was good, flank steak was too salty for me. I did have the BEST Brussel Sprouts I ever had.
The only problem was we had the WORST waitress ever. Her name was Gia. She was lazy and couldn't care less about any of her guests. She did not bring us bread in the beginning. I had to ask her twice and then she went and set an empty table before bringing us the bread. She NEVER refilled our Iced teas. I had to ask her SEVERAL times to get it refilled just once. When I called her, she said to me, "Sorry, I was tuning you out".
The restaurant wasn't crowded and the other servers seemed very attentive to their guests. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice and lively...I like that. I've been going to WDW since 1983 and NEVER had such a bad server.
That being said, I will be going back in the summer (my adult children are coming with us and they want to try it). I will make sure Gia is NOT my server.
Another thing that bothered me was that they served me my spinach pie about 15 FULL minutes before they gave my husband his grape leaf. Gia said that's because they serve the food as it's done to maintain the integrity of the dish. I can understand that, BUT, the spinach pie had to be cooked and the grape leaf is a cold dish that is put together in a few minutes, so that didn't make any sense.
Anyway, if you like Greek food, you should like Kouzzina. I will give them another chance.
