They are both wonderful and our favorites, but I would pick Kona hands down, it is our favorite!!!

Kona is great for breakfast! We love the Pineapple Macadamia Nut Pancakes, Tonga Toast, Big Kahuna and Passion Orange Juice. We go there at least once every single trip without fail (more often its like 2 or 3 times per trip!).

Ok thank you!! Kona is where I want to go but some other ppl in my family want to go to Ohana for characters!! Any more thoughts??

Haven't been to Kona's yet....but my kids had a blast with Lilo & Stitch at O'hana's on May 16. It was one of our favorite character meals. If there will be kids in your group...I highly recommend O'hana's. Even the 4 grandparents that were in our group LOVED this meal.

I voted for Kona because that is where we have our ADR in a couple of weeks. We did have an ADR for O'hanas (haven't been before) but quickly changed it because my kids are very shy around characters, especially Stitch, that are crazy. I have read on the DIS that he likes to try to steal the kids food and do other crazy things with them. I know that it is all in fun, but my kids will be very stressed about it, that I decided to go the calmer route. Hopefully next time we go to DW, they will outgrow their fears :goodvibes

Kona...I even choose to feed our family of 6 out of pocket because I love it but don't want to "waste" a TS on this breakfast....

Ok thank you!! I think im leaning towards kona for an add on to our other adr!! Any more thoughts?

The menu at Kona is better for us....eggs benedict are awesome and the Tonga Toast is to die for. Add in 2 pots of pressed pot Kona coffee and we are good to go!

The food at Kona is more appealing to the adults in our family but my kids love 'Ohana so that is where we go. DS loves to eat with Stitch and that overrides the food quality for us.

OK, so I have to admit that we've never been to Ohana, but we went to Kona for breakfast the day we left the World last October (and what a sad day it was.....) and it was AWESOME! Such great food, terrific atomosphere. It was truly wonderful and we'd all highly recommend it!

Never been to Kona, but I'm going back to Ohana's just for the strawberry-banana smoothies! Yum!

'Ohanas is good, but Kona is much better. 'Ohanas is good for characters and the conga line dance. The food is your standard eggs, bacon, sausage, etc. it's not bad at all. Now Kona, on the other hand, has different things to try like Tonga Toast, Pineapple Macadamia Pancakes, etc. Kona is also very good for lunch and dinner. I had a real yummy BBQ sandwich on a kaiser for lunch and for dinner the filet mignon medallions were delicious!

I have not tried either, but wanted to go to one of them on my August trip. I just made my reservation for Kona. I will probably try Ohana next year!!

Food Kona Hands Down. Charaters Ohanas, longest wait we had to get in to. Food came out right away & went cold pretty quick. When Stitch came out the kids all went crazy-in a good way. Parades were fun. the Charaters & CM's where so good about not letting kids cut in on other kids turns.
