I am thinking of trying the sushi at Kona and I am hoping that it is better than the sushi from markets or Chinese buffets. Is this true? How fresh is the seaweed, in other words, does it have a strong flavor?
Thanks

It is definitely higher quality than a supermarket (I find that stuff bottom barrel and tend to go for veggie rolls if at all). The sushi at Kimonos is more high end, but then you do pay more for it! Been twice, planning on going again next time we are in the area. :thumbsup2

We had the sushi several times last trip and found the food to be very fresh and tasty. I don't remember the seaweed tasting off or too strong.

The Volcano roll and Rainbow roll were our favorites.....yumm!
