Kona Sushi Bar - Take out?

I can't really picture this restuarant but know its open evenings. We'd like to get take out and sit on the beach and watch Wishes. Do they have take out?

The sushi bar isn't really a restaurant, it's the coffee bar, just at night. So it's small bar tables, and that's it. We took it as take out. It was pretty good but the rolls were expensive and they didn't give us wasabi or pickled ginger

I say get the sushi from Capt. Cooks, it's a much better value, and it even comes with seaweed salad.

Well, I thought the sushi was pretty darned bad for the price. It was not that fresh, not that good and just ick. I take it back, it was darn bad. Go to the Swan and get a to go order or California Grill. Both have EXCEPTIONAL sushi and will do to go orders.

My family and I have been there a few times to eat the Sushi at the Bar where we see it being made, however we have also seen others take it out so that can be done.

We've done take out from Kimono's at the Swan many times, but that was for taking back to the room for me and the kids if we were tired and just wanted to watch a movie or something. It isn't cheap (I typically spend about $25 per person, and that is for kids, okay my son isn't a cheap date!), but theirs is quite good.

If you were going all the way back to the MK to watch Wishes, I'd do a different type food. But you could get it from Kimonos and watch Illuminations, or just people watch on the Boardwalk, as that is a five minute walk.

My good friend went to Kimonos with her 4 boys once, and they let her order sushi and brought the boys the childrens menu from a different restaurant. I really like the service at the Swan!
