Are Pan Asian noodles basically the same as Lo Mein? 4 of my kids LOVE Lo Mein and probably wouldn't eat anything else on the menu, so I just wanted to make sure my assumption was right. Thanks a bunch!

No not really. I got this dish last time and it was very good but its not exactly like chinese lo mein, although its more like it than not I guess. I'm sure if you search the boards you might be able to find a picture of it.

I'm w/ the PP in that no it isn't. I actually sent mine back because it wasn't anything like I had been expecting (which was pretty much lo mein or some kind of an asian noodle dish w/ sauce sticking to the noodles) and it was watery so I just decided it wasn't worth the expense. Not for ME anyway. ;) That's not to say it was bad. Not at all what I'm saying. I'm just exceptionally picky A: with my calories (because I'm obese and I have a hard time eating thinsg I don't like becuase losing weight is nearly impossible) and B: I'm tired of paying Disney prices for food I don't like. It's one of the only ways I can tell them that. I barely eat anything in a sitting anyway having had gastric by-pass so it's never the end of the world for me to wait and grab a whatever after my family eats. I don't order something else after I've sent a dish back. Too scary.
So the piont to all that , was that I just wanted to say why I sent it back and it wasn't because it was horrible. But it isn't lo mein.

There are much better options at Kona than this dish.

Our favorites for lunch are the Kona Club & the Pork Tacos.

Our favorites for dinner are the Tuna Oscar & the Teriyaki Strip Steak

Thank you everyone. I cancelled our Kona reservation and made one for 1900 Park Fare. I don't know why I even consider non-buffet restaurants with 4 teens and a tween. This is my DD's 14th Birthday dinner and she is a vegetarian, so if the noodles don't work, there's nothing else on the menu for her there. I know the food isn't the greatest at 1900 PF, but at least there's enough variety for everyone to find something they like. I really appreciate your feedback! :thumbsup2
