We will be having dinner at Kona one night of our trip but I have never had breakfast there. I am debating on eating at Kona or at The Wave for breakfast, I have heard good things about both....I have to chose one or the other because our other days are pretty much booked. WWYD?
Thanks!

Have never eaten at The Wave - but breakfast at Kona ROCKS!!! :goodvibes

The pineapple macadamia nut pancakes may be the best breakfast I have ever had anywhere! I recommend Kona - especially if you are staying at the Poly.

I think I would choose The Wave - we tried both on our December trip and really enjoyed the service and quality of food at the Wave. The restaurant was very quiet and unrushed - our server offered smoothies with our breakfast as part of our DDP. Extra attention to the kids and individualizing their choices as well as filling our resort mugs before we left. Kona food was excellent - it just felt busy and noisy.

Personally, I'd switch the Kona dinner to the wave; I love their dessert samplers! And you just can not beat Kona for breakfast!!! Love me that Tonga Toast

I couldn't decide either so we will be going to
both for breakfast. We will also will be trying
Grand Floridian Cafe' breakfast.

I agree with previous post, switch dining to the Wave for the dessert sampler. If not I would still have breakfast at Kona Cafe. All hail the Tonga Toast- YUMMO:worship:

I second that - the pineapple macadamia pancakes are fabulous (and much better than the good but overrated Tonga toast).

I would go to The Wave because your already going to Kona Cafe for dinner, so this way you can try two different restaurants.

We love Kona but tried the Wave over our Thanksgiving trip and it was great! I could not get a last minute Kona ADR and the rep suggested The Wave. We were very happy. The food was great and it felt very calm and upscale... well, upscale Disney. My six year old loved her Mickey waffles and hubby and I both had omelets. Yum!
