Kona or Boma?

You mean I can't do both? That would be a hard decision. If I were staying at the poly, I'd probably choose Kona bcs of the convenience. Or maybe I'd pick Boma for a chance to experience a bit of AKL. Probably our favorite meal of our 10/06 trip was dinner at Kona. But we've also had great meals at Boma in the past, too.

Have you looked at the menus? Do you prefer buffets and a chance to try lots of different things?

I know I'm not much help but I think you can't go wrong with either.

If you are talking breakfast than I pick Boma all the way!

IMO this is an impossible choice:

1) Both resorts are beautiful and are worth a visit.
2) The food at both is fabulous. Boma is a bit more exotic and great if you are hungry and want to load up but the bread at Kona is not to be missed.

We did both last year and have booked both again so thankfully it is a choice I don't need to make.

Hard choice. We have never had a bad meal at Kona's! LOVE their bread! I love Boma's. Their soups and hummus are to die for! Whichever you choose, it will be great!

BOMA all the way for us.. we love the food and atmosphere.

However, Kona is very good too! If you're staying at the Poly, it would be so convenient. Check out the menus of each and decide which you like better. I love being able to try some of everything so Boma is always better for us! And, as an above poster said, Boma's soups are to die for!

Now Kona has a new sushi bar attached to it (where the coffee bar used to be), and it's VERY good! They have a tempura shrimp with pineapple and something that's wonderful! And their twist on the California roll is very good! My favorite was their spicey tuna one. So if sushi is your thing, then Kona would suit you better.

Either way.. you'll love it I'm sure. Can't do both?

This is a tough choice!
I enjoy both of them. But, if I could choose only one, I guess I'd choose Kona. As much as I like Boma, there are so many choices and I always tend to overeat.
You'll have a great meal where ever you end up!

I would choose Boma...the variety of salads, fruits, meats, vegetables, soups, and desserts make this restaurant a must-do for us each trip. Here are some of my favorite dishes: coconut curry salmon; marrakesh couscous; spinach salad with quinoa; white bean hummus; carrot ginger soup; banana bread pudding with vanilla sauce; roasted vegetables; peanut rice; falafel; and black bean salad.
