At 60+ days out no kona nothing. Bfast lunch or dinner...what gives? Super spotty even before 60. Anyone else...just odd. Thanks.
Thanks- I couldn’t get Kona either on any day of my June trip. Guess I’ll just keep checking…
Agree that all restaurants should hold reservations for those staying there. When paying deluxe price you are paying for amenities like restaurants, proximity to parks and pools etc. Very aggravating when you have a restaurant at your resort and can’t get in even once during your trip.I don't know if this is related but when we were staying at the Polynesian last year we spoke to the people at Kona because we could not get a table for breakfast during our whole trip but it kept looking half empty.
The system seemed to be holding back the reservations for walk-ups. Then they weren't getting the walk-ups because everyone thought it was booked solid. Maybe they never got it fixed?
It sounds like a nice idea to hold back reservations to all these places for this guests who are staying at the hotel, but you need to tell the guests who have been conditioned to think that they need reservations that the restaurant is now open for walk-ups.
I wish they would combine doing it with announcing that they are doing it- so that those of us afraid to not have a plan know we should try while there!Agree that all restaurants should hold reservations for those staying there.
