Has anyone eaten at the Kona Cafe recently? I heard there were some changes to the menu and they no longer serve the Kona Kone for dessert?

They have new desserts for adults now. All of the reviews I have read say nothing about the children's menu. One would hope it is still on there. We have an ADR in July.https://wdwnt.com/2019/01/review-ne...aks-from-kona-cafe-disneys-polynesian-resort/

The Kona Kone was one of my favorites, lots of memories.

My daughters and I went last October and were told The Kona Kone was gone. We were so disappointed as the pork tacos were also gone, so the dessert was the only reason we booked an adr there. We will not be going there again unless the menu changes.

I was there last month for lunch and dinner & didn't see Kona Kone on the menu.

However, it never hurts to ask & see if they'll take an off-menu request. At dinner, we requested an entree that was only on the lunch menu, and they were happy to serve it to us. They might or might not be able to accommodate a Kona Kone request, but it never hurts to ask.

The Kona Kone was my go to dessert until I discovered they would bring me a serving of the 'Ohana Bread Pudding.
