I'm hoping to post a whole trip report later but I just wanted to quickly say how much we enjoyed the Kona Island Sushi bar at the Poly!! My dh, sister and I stopped in on the way to MK in a time crunch to see Wishes. We quickly shared the Volcano Roll ($12.99) - Delicious!! The CM's making the sushi were pretty cool too
So on the way back from MK, we saw the lines for the parking lot trams and said... you know what's better then these huge lines? More sushi!!
So we went back again and got the Shrimp Tempura Roll ($9.99) and the California Luau Roll ($12.99) - again, Delicious!!
We all thought we liked the Volcano Roll the best out of the bunch, but they were really all very good. And we got to chat with the CM's making the sushi again. They did an excellent job!
Later in the trip we stopped in to Toyko Dining just for sushi, and while we had a great time there, we all agreed we liked the Kona sushi better. So I just wanted to remind you sushi lovers to stop in and give it a try next time you are there. It's good stuff!
