Kona Cafe

I looked to see if anyone else had offered suggestions but didn't find any threads on Kona.

For those of you who have eaten dinner at Kona Cafe, which entree do you like better? The steak sounds good, but the chicken does too.

We tried Kona for the first time last year and really enjoyed it. So much in fact, I just made a ressie for our upcoming trip this morning. Several members in our party had the steak (including me) and it was delicious. For an appetizer we had the sticky chicken wings and they were divine! Whatever you choose I am sure you will enjoy!

Our boys love the Teriyaki Steak, DH & I love the Tuna Oscar. We have eaten at Kona many times. You will enjoy it!

I tried the steak and thought it was very good. Definitely a meal I'd order again. I can't speak about the fish, though.

The Tuna Oscar was OUTSTANDING. Dh liked his shrimp & scallops too.

We loved Kona.

The pan asian noodles are very good!

We ate there in 2007 and really enjoyed it. I had the coconut almond chicken and ds had the chicken kids meal. I can't remember what dh had but I do have a picture of it.

Thanks for the replies! The steak sounds awesome, but I wanted to get others' opinions before I spend $27 and it not be good.

I've eaten at Kona many times for breakfast, but never dinner.

We have eaten at Kona several times and really enjoy their food.
Favorite appetizers: Crabcakes, potstickers, wings.
Favorite Entrees: Terryiaki steak, Pomegranate(sp) Pork Chop, shrimp &
scallops.

DD(25) said the steak had the most fantastic flavor, and voted that it was one of the best tasting steaks she has ever eaten.

I LOVE the Teriyaki Steak, it is sooooo good, I think it may be my all time favortie steak in all of WDW

just let me say this is one of my top favorites. we've been there several times and i love the steak and i love the mahi-mahi and when we were there last feb. i got the crab cake sushi rolls and the shrimp/scallops and YUM it was so good! i love their sushi! everything is so good @ kona!!

The one entree I had that was bleh was the shrimp/scallops - it had very little flavor. The suishi was good from the Island bar.

I love Kona for lunch! I am heading back in Sept/Oct and will be trying it for dinner.

For lunch in April 2009:we had the Kona salad, the lunch with the sticky rice and chicken in a light peanut sauce. The pork tacos, yum! They make their own shells for the tacos. Their macaroni salad is good too! I wish that I had room for one of there very nice yummy looking desserts! Give it a try1
