Kona Cafe?

Anybody like this place? We made breakfast reservations for the last day we are at Disney because I heard someone on here say something about Kona Coffee being served there and I am a coffee fanatic so I made reservations.

This is my favorite breakfast ever !! I dream about it when I am not at Disney !! Try the Tonga toast when you are there !

Hello!!

My Mom and I were there a couple of weeks ago and split the Big Kahuna. It was very good! I don't drink coffee, so I can't help you there... but there was quite a menu for just coffee!

Yes! Tonga Toast is the best. I had to splurge and get room service on our last day at the Poly because Kona was booked solid and I just had to have my tonga toast!

I like the Kona but didn't find it to be anything special. We trekked over for it and it wasn't worth the trip for basic breakfast fare. DH got the Tonga Toast and I found it revolting but there is a huge fan base for it. He got in about 1/3 of it before he had to push it aside as well. I was going to order it, too, based on recommendations here but the family we met for breakfast warned me about it so I passed. I had the macadamia nut pancakes and they were yummy =)

The coffee, however, IS excellent and after drinking lots of Nescafe or whatever that junk is, it was a welcome change.

We had good service, the food was good but basic breakfast stuff, prices were pretty fare esp for resort, but the atmosphere is really nothing more than a hotel lobby restaurant. I think you'll enjoy it though! Esp the coffee! =)
