I am having trouble choosing from one of these restaurants. We have eaten at Kona before and liked it. We have never been to The Wave or Artist Point. We will be staying at the Poly for a few nights then going to BWV. I was thinking of maybe skipping Kona because we have been there and we also have a breakfast booked. We also like the signiture restaurants but have never been to AP. I guess its down to the Wave or AP. We are also booked at Jiko, Citricos, Cal.Grill, Spoodles Flying Fish and Tutto Italia. Would you go to AP if you don't eat Salmon or buffalo steak? I know thats what AP is famous for. Any thoughts would be great. Thanks !!!:confused3 :confused3

DW and I very much enjoyed our meal at Artist Point. We agree that Kona is a great choice too. Haven't been to the Wave so can't comment or compare that one. Note that Artist Point is a signature restaurant, so in the Disney scheme of things, it's a step up from Kona.

Any other reviews? I just read some good ones on the Wave. What about Artist Point? Has anyone been there recently? Thanks !!!!

Love the Kona, but Artist Point is my choice. Check out the menu on one of the this site or All Ears to see if there are any items you think you would like.
If you are a meat eater, the buffalo is outstanding and the hazlenut sweet potatoes are too.
Have not tried the Wave yet.

I was there in August and ate at both The Wave and Artist Point. _I_ would choose Artist Point. The meal was great, service was superb; the meal was pricey though- over $100 for two of us, with the DDE discount. Portions were not huge.

The Wave had good food, very medicore service, but it was only around $58 for the same two of us.

We ate at all three on our recent trip. Kona is skippable in my opinion...it seems kind of run down now and the food was really nothing special. We loved the Wave and Artist Point--first time at each; ate at the Wave 2x, once for lunch, once for dinner. Both have nice atmospheres and we had fabulous waitstaff. One of DH's favorite apps of the trip was the Wave crabcake and I loved their veg. stew, veg. pasta, and desserts. At Artist Point DH loved the tenderloin; I loved the potstickers. I don't think you can go wrong with either of these two.
