Kona Cafe Pineapple Drink

Does anyone have a good picture of the fantastic drink Kona Cafe serves in a pineapple? I looked it up on the menu and I believe it's called a Lapu Lapu. It's 100 degrees today and I was thinking about how that would hit the spot right now. Thanks for the help!

No it's deadly. But yummy: Myer’s Original Dark Rum, Bacardi 151 rum, sour mix and tropical fruit juices.

Cost about 13 dollars. Some people like to attack the alcohol soaked fruit left after you drink it with a fork (or spork). The drink has quite a following on the Poly resort thread.

Lapu Lapu
Tambu Lounge

1 oz. Meyer's Rum
1/2 oz. Bacardi 151
Scorpion Mix (half sour mix and half orange juice)
Garnish: Cherry

Serve in a pineapple.

Here's another shot! I have only had this drink once and boy it's strong! I'm not a huge fan of Bacardi 151 so next time I'll probably have them substitute it with Parrot Bay coconut rum instead. It was still fun to drink but after that one I was already feeling it!

Yes, they make a virgin version too. DD has had one at O'hana a few times.

God. Me and my wife hated those. They were way too strong. Vaguely fruit flavored cough syrup. But my brother loved his, and finished off ours as well. He ended up having three, and was pretty loopy after that.

I have no idea. I think it's just the mix they have in the alcoholic version sans the alcohol, but I'm not sure.

I know the virgin's are VERY sweet.
