We have an ADR to make and are trying to decide between Kona Cafe or Raglan Road. Any thoughts??? :confused3

I like both, but they are very diffferent. Who is in your party? What kind of food do you like? What are your plans that day? Have you looked at the menus?

We did Kona last year and were going to do it again but honestly DH bowed out since the only thing on the menu he likes is the steak and he plans on eating alot of it at Jiko and Cali Grill so we dumped Kona for RR....he has his heart set on the Ham and I like the sound of the Chicken Pie.

Well, it's a Thursday and we like to eat earlier anyway. After dinner we'd like to get to DHS for Fantasmic if we can. Both of my dining companions (heh!) are relatively finicky eaters...but one likes steak and the other noodles which had me leaning to Kona.

well you certainly picked two very different restaurants!!! kona has good food - the restaurant sits out in the open so people walking by look directly at the diners - the hotel is nice and it is on the monorail so after dinner you can walk around, ride over to other hotels to explore or head over to the magic kingdom...all our meals have been good (great wings, crab, steak)

raglan road also has good food plus the music and dancer - feels more like "an evening out" and also you can walk around downtown disney (tho i am not sure what will be open when you are there)
the pot pie is good (tho a little smaller than i was expecting) fish and chips are quite good - lots of fun beers to try, etc

so! given the both places have good food, what experience do you want to have? if you are looking for a quieter, more ordinary experience then i would recommend kona
if you want more of an "experience" then i would go to raglan

have a great trip!:flower3:

I would give kona 4 and a half stars. Awesome food and excellent theme. Great Reastrunt all around!:cool1:
