Shopko has the Kolocraft Jeep stroller on sale right now for less than $30 and I was wondering if it is any good? I am thinking about picking it up for around town shopping and such.

Yes! We have a Jeep stroller - it's the umbrella style - and I can't rave about it enough! I bought it when we had 5 flights to go on in a 2 week period - our regular stroller was just too bulky to lug through airports that many times. We paid $39 for ours, because it wasn't on sale, but it was still well worth it. I wasn't xpecting too much for that price, so I was thrilled to find out what a great stroller it is!

My favorite thing about the Jeep strollers is that that are taller than regular umbrella strollers, so you are stooping or bending over to push it. The Jeep is also much, much sturfier and better made. We've had ours for 3 years and it will be coming along to WDW this summer! :thumbsup2

I was also thinking about getting the Jeep stroller since our regular stroller is so big but I wasn't sure if my daughter would be comfortable in it. She'll be 3 and 1/2 at the time we go to Disney and she's average size. Do you think she'll be too big for it?

Fionasmommy-thanks for the reply. I'll be checking it out this afternoon. Our big stroller is getting too bulky to take on random erands.

I said the same thing in another post! We love that it is taller than other umbrella strollers! It moves so well!

Not at all! My dd is 4 now (5 in June) and there's still plenty of room.

Thank you so much! I almost considered getting the volo but it seems so expensive since my daughter won't get much use out of it. She'd much rather walk so I only need it when she wants a rest. I'd much rather spend $30 as long as she fits in it!! Again thanks you saved me a lot of money!!

We have a Jeep Wrangler stroller and we love it! It's almost 3 years old now, and will likely be retired from travel after our trip in August, but it's been a great stroller. It has a sun shade, a small basket and reclines, and folds umbrella-style so is easy to get on and off the busses. It was about $70 when we purchased it, but I've seen it for less. I always recommend this stroller!

We did have one incident where my mother-in-law had a run-in with one of the wheels, bending the whole wheel assembly. I contacted Kolcraft/Jeep customer support online, and they shipped us a new wheel assembly at no charge almost immediately. Their service was amazing!

Mur!

I'm going to be the only decenter...

We just looked at umbrella strollers for our upcoming Disney trip and put DD in the Jeep one at the store. The seat was shallow and the whole thing seems very narrow. I have a very tall thin little one and she looked squished in there so we decided to pass on that one. We ended up with a Maclaren in the end, more money than I wanted to spend but we figure we'll get more use out of it. We do have a regular Kolocraft umbrella stroller that we do like but we wanted a reclining stroller for Disney.

I got mine 1.5 years ago for a trip to DisneyLand and I loved it...great umbrella for the price. Love the extra height, side bags to hold stuff, extra large wheels, and while the sun shade is a little flimsy, it does the job. I also put a mesh zip bag in the back between the handles and I have all the storage I need.

I only have one and have a 3 & 4 year old going to WDW this June...I am considering getting another one. I just don't think they will be good at sharing one of them.

I am so glad to hear nice things. I just purchased a double jeep for my twin 5 y.o. Our maclaren broke last year on the airplane home, and we had no reason the purchase a new one until now. With a big Disney vacation, after research, this seemed to be the best choice. Got it for $60 and can give it to a friend or resell it upon our return.

We have 2 of these, my DD are 21 months & 3 1/2 (4 in June). They are wonderful strollers, comfortable & very easy to use!! Great for Disney!!
