Kohl's Is Coming To Florida!

I know there is a lot of talk about Kohl's on this board, so I thought I would share the good news!

A sign just went up today announcing a new shopping center, including a Kohl's, on the corner of John Young Parkway and Osceola Parkway. I'm not sure what city that is, Kissimmee, Orlando, ??? But, it is just off of Disney property for those visiting here, and YAY! for Floridians! I'm so excited.

That's great! We FINALLY just got one here in San Diego near me. It opened last week. They do have a lot of cute kids clothes and home stuff. It's a lot like Mervyns or JC Penney. It's always fun to have brand new store near by!

That's Kissimmee and I am so glad. Was wondering when we would be getting one here. Loved to shop at the one in NY.

Now, if we could only get a Stew Leonard's here, that will be the icing on the cake.

I like Kohl's. Its one of the few places I buy my own work clothes. Affordable, hold up well.

But their stores vary alot in "shopability" The one by my house is great. The next one over is horrible - too much merchandise packed too close together and not kept tidy.

I love Kohl's!

They have the best deals around here! I always say that if you are paying full price at Kohl's -- you are paying too much! Just wait a day or two and the item will go on sale.

I've spent so much money at Kohl's that I received a Thank You note from the President of Kohl's two weeks ago!! Too bad it didn't include a discount coupon! My DH was a little dismayed that the President of Kohl's took the time to send me a Thank You note. Obviously, I shop there way too much!

Do any of you Floridians/Georgians remember Uptons? I was so upset when they went out of business. Thank goodness Kohl's came to my area a few years later. (We had also lost Mervyns here in the Atlanta area.)

I do agree though with the poster who said the quality of the Kohls stores varies. We have about 6 here within easy driving distance for me - 2 are always great, the others - hit or miss.

I think it is so funny to see Kohl's being discussed on the boards. I grew up in Menomonee Falls WI-home of Kohl's. I have shopped there forever. The store has changed alot in 30+ years, happy to see everyone loves it. If I wouldn't spend so much on Disney maybe I would have been able to buy stock in Kohl's. LOL

we applied for a CC there 2 mths ago( have always shoppped without thier card, big mistake getting the card LOL) but, we were approved LOL just on saturday got a letter and a new card...LOL upgraded to gold status in 2 mths....i THINK i spend too much money there also


but the deals cannot be beat!
