Kohls, Fiestaware, never again!!!

So I got my Fiesta order from Kolhs. Never again will I order from them. I am missing 9 pieces of what I ordered, even though it says it was delivered. And on top of that, I would have never imagined the way they packed out the bowls. Just stacked them all together. Really?

So now I have got to go the store and plead my case with returning every bit of it and hope that they do not think I am lying about not receiving all of it.:headache::headache::headache:
 
...All you need to do is call customer service and tell them you did not receive your complete order. No big deal.

Kohl's is not a high end department store and Fiestaware is not high end dinnerware so I'm not surprised at how it was packaged for shipping. The shipping employees just cram stuff into boxes as quickly as possible.
 
I ordered a bunch of Fiesta dishes and glassware last week and was very impressed how well it was all packaged. I order a lot from Amazon and often have things smashed and spilled all over the place, so Kohls was a pleasant surprise to me with their shipping department.

I'm returning all of it. Macys had a better sale today so I ordered from them with an upgraded bowl that I really like. I will just take back what I have and tell them the truth. I ordered my first set with Macys and it was packed like it should have been. This is not what I was expecting. I may buy again from Kohls, but just not online.
 

Are you sure the rest of the order isn't being sent separately? I've had that happen. Some of the on line orders are now filled by local stores, so they will only send what they have in stock at that store, and the rest may be coming from a different store. As long as nothing is broken I wouldn't give two hoots about how it was packed.
 
I agree with checking to see if the full order shipped. I ordered some shorts and received one email saying order has shipped, but that was only for 2 pairs. I then received a second email saying my full order has shipped and it had the other shorts I ordered.

JohnDaleswife is using her Fiesta for display, so the way it was packed could result in scratches.

I have tons of Fiesta and it will scratch if abused, ie packed and transported with no padding between the pieces.

Again, if the product was not ruined in shipping, how it was packed shouldn't matter. OP didn't say it was marred, only that they didn't like how it was packed.
 
Ya, I just couldn't believe it was packed like that. But I am going to call and check on the order. I would rather have all the pieces when I go to return it.
 
This reminded me....I ordered a Fiestaware Canister set for my mother in law for xmas last yr or the year before but when it arrived one of the lids was broken. So, I called Kohls customer service and they seemed to have been having issues from a Black Friday sale (I didn't purchase during that, but bad timing I guess) and I waited forever! When I talked to the CSR they said they no longer had the item in stock to send me a replacement so they just refund my CC for my purchase price but I wasn't going to have to return the non-broken bottom canister (just the lid broke). So, I contacted Fiestaware directly to see if I could buy JUST the lid and sure enough I could and spend like $10 to have a lid sent. So, anyway, I'd contact them. You actually might end up ahead!
 
A few months ago I ordered from Kohl's (not Fiestaware, but several Tervis cups). I never got them all. I called and they over-compensated and refunded me for 2 when I was only missing one.

I had spent over 1.5 hours on the phone trying to explain the situation to three different people with Filipino accents and even called AGAIN to try to explain the over-payment, but I finally just gave up.
