Kohl's cash and returns?

I recently ordered $80 worth of merchandise from Kohl's and earned $10 Kohl's cash which I have since spent. From that order I now need to return $24 worth of stuff. Since I am still above the $50 threshold for earning the Kohl's cash, they won't deduct the $10 from the Kohl's cash from my return correct? Just trying to figure out the best case scenario for returning before I head to the store. If I'm going to lose the $10, I'll do an even exchange instead.
Any Kohl's experts out there?

You should be fine. I had a big order the other day and earned $30 KC. I returned a few things and thought for sure I would lose one but they said no. I came home and ordered online and they all went through fine.

Got DS free dress pants and two pairs of pj pants. :cool1:

You could always try to see what they'd give you credit for without a receipt. I've gotten screwed pretty bad before and they took my Kohl's cash and rewards out of my refund - not an adjustment, just took it all. So now I'll take it back without a receipt and see what they'll give it to me for. I'm not trying to scam them, just trying to get back what's right.

If I know I have already spent my kohls cash then I ask for a kohls merchandise credit just so it won't affect the kohls cash.
