However, for those of you who purchased the oval crock pot that was a Black Friday deal in 2009, please be aware that there has been a recall.
I received a letter in the mail, probably because I used my Kohl's card to make the purchase, stating that certain lots were recalled due to fire hazard. There were two lots recalled 0909 was one of the numbers and it is the one that I purchased. It is stamped on the bottom of the crock pot.
If you didn't receive a letter, but did purchase a crock pot at Kohl's be sure to call your store for more details.
