Kohls bait and switch

I was kind of diappointed with my online purchase..my first ever and my first Kohls since my closest is 65 miles away. I got what I felt like were good prices and the items tha came wee nice quality. What bugged me was all the ig ads saying you got 10 Kohls cash for every 50..ok, great..so I bought a few more things to get the a second Kohl's cash 10..then when it prints out, I discover you HAVE to use it in a store and it HAS to be within a week. I felt that info should have been a little clearer. Why can't they make it valid for online orders if you GOT it from a online order? So naturally, that $20 went poof.

Was it the Memorex miniMove boombox? If so it's great, we bought one for a bday gift 2wks ago for $37. I thought the whole idea behind black friday was bait and switch...

actually no and in some states you could have demanded that they sell you the item for the price shown.

Bait and switch is illegal and most states if not all have laws against it.


Yes OP it does sound like a bait and switch. I would call corporate about it ( although I am sure they know)but complaining does help and I would also call your State attorney general and report it.
