We are finally getting a Kohl's where I live:cool1:. So many of you have posted about the good deals and Kohl's Kash you received. How do I find out about the good deals and what is the best way to get Kohl's Kash? Anything else I should know about Kohl's? Thanks for the help.

I live in WI where Kohl's started. Don't worry, you won't miss the ads they have.

I've signed up on their website or give your e-mail in store. They often send additional money savings.

The store itself advertises when the do the money back (Kohl's cash).

I would also suggest their credit card. They have sales which they send you either 15%, 20% or 30% off.

The biggest thing to know about Kohl's is never pay full price. There is always a sale of some sort around the corner.

Enjoy.

When I moved to a city near my daughter and a Kohl's my daughter told me do not buy anything NOT already on sale at Kohl's as it will be ----so that is the way I started shopping with Kohl's. They have many ad's and are on TV and if you have the Kohl's charge you even get more discounts thru the mail. Like the Kohl's Kash but wish had longer to spend it. I get they want you back in the store sooner but.....one thing do not care for is the buy one get one free as I can get better deals than that with Kohl's other sales. Only complaint I have is their stores are to warm in the summer here. :thumbsup2

Give them your email for great sale alerts and coupons. Today I had one saying Kohl's cash be rewarded now thru 9-22. Every $50 you spend you get $10 in Kohls cash to be spent later.

Kohls is the best place to go if you need to buy baby clothes too. Don't pay full price wait until they clearance stuff and get cute outfits for $1-4. It's amazing how much they mark stuff down.

Everything goes on sale at Kohls so if you can wait a week or two, whatever you need will be on sale. But if you can't wait, they do refund the difference when something you bought goes on sale later a week or two later (not sure how long).

Its two weeks. Get the credit card and pay it off as soon as you use it with check or cash at the register. That way you get the extra discount but dont have to worry about racking up a bill. (You can wait til you get the statement but make sure you always pay the amount it tells you to avoid interest charges). NEVER pay full price for anything at Kohls, there will be a sale. They also have great clearance.

:lmao: So true and every sale is the "Sale of the Season".
But I love Kohl's. They moved in RI about 7 years ago and my whole wardrobe is from them.

HUGE Kohl's fan here!

Yes, get their credit card, even if you hate credit cards. Bring cash and pay off the card minutes after you buy your stuff. You need that card for the savings.

And there are savings! One of the best things about Kohl's is no restrictions on their sales (for the most part). If you get an extra 30% off- it's off your whole order. The only exclusions I have ever seen as something like when they'll say and extra 10% off all shoes, and they they'll exclude Converse All-Stars.

Another tip - shop frequently so you can check out mark-downs. Things move to clearance quickly, and you can snatch up great deals. don't forget to wander through the whole store too - lots to see there.

Also, Kohl's return policy is EXCELLENT. One of the best around.

Enjoy shopping - I can barely remember the days when we didn't have a Kohl's here!

There are usually 10-15 clearance racks in the store...do not neglect them! I have five pairs of dress pants that I wore all summer long to work. They were marked down to $4.99 each (originally around $60.00 a pair). It is absolutely worth your time to start there!

I just came back from Kohl's. I had a 30% off coupon plus I bought everything on sale!! It's great. The Kohl's card will also let you pay interest free if you pay 1/3 balance.

Watch their prices carefully before you buy. There are many times that Kohl's has items on "sale" for prices that are higher (or exactly the same) as you can buy the same item in other stores at its regular non-sale price. They do have good coupons though and sometimes have good sales too. You just need to be sure you know what you are buying and what the fair price is elsewhere.

Sign up for the MVC card and you'll get all the good stuff!

:thumbsup2:thumbsup2 Yeap, and those 30% coupons are awesome!!;);) We waited "impatiently" for 4 yrs for them to open a Kohls within driving distance from us and they did (1/2 hr away) and a year later they opened one within 5 minutes of my house!! But you have to be careful, it's very easy to spend especially with those 30% off coupons and then once in a while we get those peel off $10 coupons on our newspaper!! :confused3 What r they trying to do to me!! ;)

But even if you pay a few dollars more, I think the open return policy makes up for it. No other store around will let you return anything for any reason, even a year or more later! Even if you don't have a receipt, you will get at least a little something on in-store credit for it.:thumbsup2

Is your information several years old or do you really still get that option? They took that away years ago here. I pouted for a while, then decided I had to shop SOMEWHERE. I don't buy as much, though, now that I know I'm going to have to pay the entire balance instead of just a third.

OP -- I do recommend the Kohl's card as a lot of the deals are only available to cardholders with MVP status, which is buying $600 per year.

We still have it here in NJ. Pay off the amount they show (which is some portion of the outstanding balance) and no interest. I do it every month.

I like Kohls, mostly for housewares, bedding and baby items. Keep in mind that with a Kohls Credit Card sometimes the items online are cheaper (a LOT cheaper) than in the store. I recently purchased 4 of the Fiestaware 5 piece place settings for a wedding gift--they were less than $90, including shipping and giftwrap online. Way more than that in the store and I would have to wrap and ship.
Don't buy anything without checking for coupon codes (I use retailmenot.com) They are often good in the store and online...and you can use two per transaction online. I saved an additional 30% off the dishes and free shipping. And I received an email with $10 back (so total out of pocket is about $80). I use those $10 coupons for socks, birthday cards, etc. Stuff I'm going to need, but don't necessarily need right this minute. Otherwise I forget about them and they expire.

Current. I am paying 1/3 balance right now & earning interest on the rest sitting in my savings. It's right on my statement. Pay xxx & have no interest charge.

OH YES, they have absolutely the best return policy ANYWHERE!!:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

I love Kohl's. I usually buy when we get a 30% off we did this time around. So we went and got all the hideaway hollow stuff for my girls for Christamas I couldn't believe I got the entire 9 piece set x2 for 100.00. My girls will love this and it is so cute. It is a exclusive kohls toy. I also got carter's pj's Fiday night the were 60% off = another 30 making them 5.60 a pair. I don't buy to many clothes there for the girls I pefer oldnavy for them . But they do have some great sales.
