Given your response, I suggest the Canon S3 IS. I am not saying that Kodak is bad, but I doubt that you will find a single reviewer that places their models above the Canon. As for ease of use, every consumer level camera has an auto mode. Kodak markets their ease of use with the docking system and so on, but that does the exact same thing as a standard USB cable that comes with every camera. The dock can also sometimes recharge the batteries, but I do not find it that inconvenient to take batteries out and place them in a charger. Also, I can not say enough on how useful the IS is. It also works automatically, but can be turned off for use on a tripod where you would not want it.
