Kodak Playsport or Playtouch Camcorder..anyone have this?

I just realized I have a gift certificate to Best Buy. I want to get a pocket camcorder. They carry the Kodak Playsport and the Playtouch. Does anyone have any experience with either of these? TIA!

I have a Playsport and we just love it. The HD video quality is great! We are water people, too, so the waterproof feature was a great bonus. It takes 5MP still pictures, too, although I don't love the quality of those. It's worth it for the video alone. Also remember that it doesn't float! Get a floating strap or find a way to fasten that strap to your wrist. (we just use a hair elastic around the strap to make it fit tight to our wrist--cheap and easy).

Same here! Used it on Splash Mountain last week and didn't have to worry about it getting wet! It takes decent photos outdoors as well, so we love that for the beach and pool! My husband has done some work videos with it as well as the HD quality is incredible!

Just pop the memory card out of the playsport and into the pc. Voila.

We love ours.

How difficult is it to import the videos to your computer?

Gave DS the white playsport for Christmas..he loves it. He is on the swim team/water polo...he has some wacky underwater footage from pratices, lol! He takes it with him each day, loves the small size. The first time he jumped into the water with it his coach freaked thinking he was jumping in with a cell phone. It takes decent video/still shots on dry land too

We bought a Playsport last summer and love it! Our favorite part about it is that it's waterproof, uses SD cards instead of internal memory, and can record in 1080p.

Another vote for the Playsport !! I bought it at the end of the summer
last year before we went to the lake for a family vacation. I
loved the small size and carried it everywhere. I also loved the
easy interface !! I bought it at Best Buy as well, but they matched
the price on Amazon. I don't know if there's a
difference right now, but it saved me some $$ at the time.
This year I will be taking it to Disney!
