Kodak eay share?

I'm on my 2nd Kodak Easyshare. I've liked both. I only upgraded to get better zoom. They're super easy to use but have settings that are more advanced if you want them to be.

It comes with software that again is easy to use. My SIL was here visiting and has a Rebel and a little handheld camera and was so impressed with my camera that she looked into getting one for herself. We were taking pictures of my son playing soccer and my pictures were awesome!

I also own two Koday Easy Share cameras. One is from about 8 years ago :scared1: and it still works wonderfully. It's a 3 MP :lmao: but it takes the most amazing pics. The other one that I have is a 10 MP, I bought it two Xmas' ago, and it works really well too. I got it on BF, and the main reason I got it was because it's red :cool1: and super cheap, like $70 or something.

I would definitely suggest a Kodak camera. :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

We have 3 of them, they take great pictures. DH is really into the photography details, he says it's the lenses....of course he takes the fewest pictures. I like it because it's easy to use, takes great pics and was reasonably priced.

I have had mine for a few years and it takes great pics! Since mine is older it takes longer to snap a pic. I heard the newer models are faster. It is a good value for the money and I have taken hundreds of photos with it. I like how you can press one button and download to your computer. I am upgrading to a Fugi underwater camera for our next DCL trip which is around $170.00.

I have an Easy Share camera. It is nice and I have no complaints but I think Olympus cameras take much better pictures.

i Have a kodak Easyshare V803. I think it works well. It is 8mp and 3x optical zoom. i do notice a big differnce in quality when it goes to digital zoom. I might upgrade to one they have at Target that is 14mp and 5x zoom for $99

When i worked at CVS like 6 years ago we had a kodak camera we used to take passport photos and it was horrible so i think they have come along way since then

I am on my second easy share camera and never had a problem with either. I only got the 2nd one because I wanted one with more megapix, my first had 6 or 8 (don't remember because that was 6 or 7 years ago), my 2nd has 10 megapix.

I bought a Kodak Easy Share camera last year to take on an Alaska cruise. It is easy to use and takes beautiful pictures. I am very happy with it.

I loved mine until my son dropped it on a rock and broke it:sad1: I haven't replaced it yet, but another easyshare is absolutely a consideration.

I love the easy share. My mother purchased one last year for a family member to take our wedding photos with, and I took it to WDW with us for our honeymoon. I just bought my own (best buy had them on sale $79 last week; I don't know if they still are)

I am So Happy to hear others like thier's! I'm getting one for this Christmas (shh) for myself. I have a Canon but the MP were 6 and this one is 14.

I found it at Office Max on clearance and then some and couldnt pass up the deal. :lovestruc I also got others on clearance for my 2 older DD and my youngest (7) is getting my old Canon. (She broke my first digital and I dont quite trust her to spend the money on a new for her yet, In a few years when I upgrade again she will get my new 14 MP Easy Share.)

I've had mine for five years. Biggest downfall - "eats" batteries. I was told by an associate at Ritz Camera that older cameras do require more of batteries than the newer models. I'm disappointed than my LCD is less than 2", but I'm always pleased with my pics. The only fault I've had with it is the selector switch. The dial can easily switch to auto and quickly kill the batteries. Newer models have a separate on/off button.

Bought a newer model for DD a few years ago, but the LCD broke. Check with a friend who works in a camera store, but he couldn't help me. If the camera also had a viewfinder it wouldn't be collecting dust. It's a great camera and we need to research getting the screen fixed vs. buying a new one.

When the time comes to upgrade or replace either or both of our EasyShares, we likely will go Kodak again because we already have the software, which is satisfactory for our use.

I've actually had major problems with my Kodak point and shoot. I'm not sure if it's a software problem or a problem inside the camera or with the memory stick, but more than once, during an upload, the camera has erased my pictures without transferring them to my computer. At first it was just one or two missing pictures, but after a recent vacation during which I'd taken 60 pictures, only 15 made it to my computer during the upload. The rest? All gone. No longer on the memory stick. It was devastating. (On a related note, I had a similar problem with a Sony Coolpix deleting pictures randomly, though not during upload... I know, I'm the common factor, but I'm pretty careful with my cameras... I really don't think it was user error either time. Maybe just user's bad luck...)

Even worse, I never got a satisfactory response from Kodak. I emailed to complain and ask for advice on how to prevent the problem in the future and I received a form letter that was completely irrelevant. I followed up with another email and never received a reply.

I have a Nikon DSLR and I absolutely adore it, though it's way too bulky to tote around regularly. The next time I've got the money together to buy a point and shoot, I'm going straight for a Nikon. They might be more expensive, but I trust them.

Not like. LOVE. We have two on the go...and just bought one for dd for Christmas too....:thumbsup2

I persoanlly would look at Nikon or Canon first. Both are higher quality cameras from better compnaies and have better lenses. I had a kodak 5 yeas ago and I thought it was OK, but died fast. It only worled for 1 1/2 years, and I didn;t use it much. The pictures were just so so, and after doing research, I have found that kodack is one of the companies less preferred.

I ordered the Kodak C183 that was 59.99 on BF at WM. I hope doesn't disappoint, but no complaints about the two we've had as I mentioned earlier. The only feature that didn't impress me was the 3x optical zoom, okay for the price point, but at 14mp I would have preferred 5x or more.

I can't wait to give it to DD for Christmas. I'll have to control myself not to borrow it from her....maybe I will get lucky and her grandparents will buy her a camera too, then I can have a new one as well. :D
