ok, dont shoot me for using Kodak EasyShare- please :sad1: Anywho, my wife likes to use it to store our photos and do some -minor- adjusting to some. She mainly gets in there for ebay sales photos and we just view the rest of our pics in there too since its there. Well I have noticed some pics have been deleted and the thumbnail still shows in EasyShare but with a line thru it. I plan to delete a bunch soon so want to get rid of this issue.
I am wondering the best way to delete a picture so it is gone totally from the EasyShare program, thumnail and all. Not sure if I need to do it from the EasyShare program or the folder on my c drive or a combination?
:confused3

I, too, have the Kodak Easy Share program on two of my computers. Yes, it is a very basic program, but for minor adjustments of JPEGS from a P-N-S it is an easy program to learn and use.

Anyway, back to your question. I have found that deleting pics from Easy Share is a two-step process. If you go into the picture files on your hard drive and delete them from your computer. And then I have found that Easy Share leaves a "ghost" image in your Easy Share folder. This is the thumbnail with the line through the image. I guess they want to remind you that you have deleted the picture from your computer. I'm not sure if start by deleting in Easy Share will make it a simpler process. I just don't remember as I tend to work outside of Easy Share when it comes to managing my photos.
