Has anyone with a Kodak Easy Share camera purchased the printer that prints out the 4x6 photos without a computer? And if so, are you happy with it?

My neighbor has one made by HP and it's really neat - can do all sorts of different things to the photos before you print them out from the memory card.. I was wondering if the one that Kodak puts out has similar options or if it justs prints the photos out exactly the way they're read from the memory card..

Also, has anyone purchased the additional lenses you can get for the Kodak Easy Share?

Thanks!

It was a gift. I don't use it. Its very slow and my Dell printer does a much nicer and quicker job. Personally, its a waste of ink and time.

C. Ann, I would look at the Epson Picture Mates. There are two versions. There are lots of things you can do without it being hooked up to the computer.

The cost per print is no more than 29 cents but most likely it will be less than that. It has the longest archival life of those types of printers. They are waterproof and smudge proof. Archival life is 100 years which is longer than typically printed photos.

When you buy the replacement ink/paper it comes in a kit. You get enough ink and paper for 100 prints. If you get to the end of the ink and you still have paper left Epson will buy the paper back from you at 29 cents a sheet and give you shipping and handling money also.

The deluxe version has some Disney frames you can print around your pictures also.

The latest version the Deluxe has an optional battery that you can take it with you anywhere. I have taken mine on a picnic and packed it in my suitcase when I went to Disneyland. I love them both.

Yeah, we have the printer dock. I really like it. It is kind of slow, but the quality is really good.
