Kocoum is traveling to WDW next week.

One day, we are planning to go to Epcot in the morning, MK in the evening, with rest-time for the kids in between. We are staying at the Poly & I was wondering if I'd be able to take the rest of the families passes with me over to MK while everyone is resting & get fast passes for later that night. Has anyone done this with success, or is this against the rules? Kocoum doesn't want to get in trouble.

Kocoum thanks you in advance for your help.

You can do it, there isn't any rule against it but you can only get them for 1 ride at a time and the window to use them is usually up around 2 hours after you get it so it would depend on how soon you plan to return to the park as to whether or not that would actually benefit you. You can't choose your return time, it's assigned to you.

I could be totally wrong(won't be the 1st time), but I asked this question last spring, and someone said no. That the fastpass knows if the passes have been used to get into the park.

This makes some sense as someone could take any number of passes in the park and get that many fastpasses without using up a day.

Princess Michelle, were you able to do this?

kittykitty, I never did it personally I just knew that there was no rule against one person getting all of the fast passes for their party, I've seen other people doing it. I didn't even think about the issue of the passes not being used to get into the park. That's a whole new problem, I'm glad you brought it up. I don't know the answer to that but you are probably right! They probably won't be able to get the passes for their family.

You can use the families admission to gather all the FP's at once but the tickets have to have been used to gain admission to that park on that day.

So to the OP's exact question, no unfortunately, as the FP machine will recoginize that your families passes were not used at the turnstyle in MK that day.

If your entire family has entered the park together then one person can certainly use all the passes to get the FP's for the family. DH and I often take turns fetching while the other takes the kids on a ride, to a show or just to grab an ice cream, saves the little feet!

Don't worry about getting in trouble, if you do use an invalid admission media in the FP machine you will just get a slip that denies you a FP. It will not take your pass or anything!
