Has anyone stayed at the KOA on daytona beach?I have to stay there before the fort to visit brother inlaw.:headache::rolleyes:

As far as I can think there is only two around daytona 3520 South Nova Road, Port Orange - (386) 767-9170

And the one by the speedway 3003 West International Speedway Boulevard, Daytona Beach - (386) 257-6137

The one in port orange has been there for every nice spot.
The speedway one is maybe 6-10 yrs old.

When are you staying there because bike week is coming up soon and they get packed real fast.

Also the one on International Speedway Boulevard is kind of out by it self maybe 2 mile to a store.
Port orange one is right in the city.

I drive past both about 3 times a week going to jobs & such.

I live near Daytona and work here, and I believe the one in South Daytona on Nova Rd. looks like it might be a little more nicer but it is right in the heart of the city, and there is a Walmart not far. The one in Daytona on International Speedway is smaller, and it is right on the outskirts of town and also right off of I-95, it has a Target near it. Both of them have restaurants right around them. The one on International just won some type of award with KOA. Depending on how long you are staying, I agree the Tomoka State Park is nice (depending how big your rig/camper is), or there is an Encore campground (Sunshine Holiday Daytona RV Resort) right off of I-95 in Ormond. There are a couple campgrounds in New Smyrna Beach which is just South of Daytona which also are nice.

Years ago I mean like twenty we stayed at the on Nova, was good I remember my mom doing laundry and she wouldn't do it if the facilities were not clean! I remember the beach being across the street.

We just stayed at the one on Nova on our recent trip to the Fort (Feb 2010).
Nice campground, big but the sites are tiny and all back-in. We got there after dark and it was not fun trying to back in..... But it is a really nice campground, clean clean clean beautiful washrooms and close to the beaches. Wifi works MARVELOUS and overall our stay was fabulous.....

sorry no photos.... but you should be fine with a 31 ft tt. ours is a 26 and we did in the dark with huge trailers beside us... lol
the sites are about the size of the paved bit on the full hook up sites at disney.... hope that helps
