We are going to Aulani for the first time. The company has a lot of different tours and we were looking to see if any Dis'ers have used them. What did you think of them? What tours did you take?

TIA!

We have taken their half day snorkeling tour twice. The captain and crew are fantastic and really do everything they can to give you the best possible experience. On our second trip, the captain went out of his way to take us further up the coast so that we would catch up with a school of dolphins. It worked and we had a once-in-a-lifetime experience of swimming with a school of dolphins that was simply indescribable.

Practically speaking, they advise (and it was my experience) that you are better off going on the early morning trip if you want to see dolphins. But either way, there is still a ton of snorkeling time and you will see great marine life.

Once you return to the marina, they serve a fresh-grilled lunch of grilled chicken or burgers.

Also, you can reserve easily online, but in the past they've offered a DVC discount so you would want to call to apply that.

All in all, I highly recommend them.

Just did their catamaran snorkeling tour 3 weeks ago and loved it. They have two different groups...Sailing adventures which is the catamaran and Ocean adventures which I think uses three other vessels. From what I could tell it is all the same company though.

Our cat tour was in the afternoon mostly because some of our group didn't want to get wake up too early :)

We first went to a location to try to see dolphins. We found a decent size pod and then had one do it's jump/spin right in front of the boat three times. Truely amazing to see. We then went to our first snorkel spot where we hoped to see turtles and possibly have the dolphin pod swim through us. Unfortunately neither happened but we did see some fish.

We then went on to our final snorkeling spot where we saw tons of fish. During this stop they got out the food which was teriyaki chicken or kalua pork, fruit and chips.

Overall we thought it was a great experience and are glad we went.

If you do book with them check out the entertainment book for Hawaii as they have discount coupons that save a lot. Just make sure to mention the coupon when you call to reserve.
