How are you feelin better today?

Meh. We hauled fabric down from the attic for 2 hours this afternoon. About 25% of it is on the driveway. A lady stopped by today and bought some.

My meds aren't working. They're weird. They were given to me for the neuropathy in my left leg. I have taken them for a month. My left leg stopped hurting....and the rest of my body started instead. I stopped the meds yesterday and went back tot he prescription strength Naproxen for the pain. I will tell the Doc next week at my appt.

The kids were off school today....and are off school next Friday!! What is the deal with the schools?? seriously? Does the teacher's union here disapprove of a full week of teaching? I feel bad for working parents. I don't begrudge the teachers their development days, btu I'm sure they would prefer not having a full week, too.

My kids are off Friday and all next week for Spring Break, which wouldn't be so bad if we were going to.... say, DISNEY WORLD or someplace cool like that. But, of course, we're not, so it's going to be painful. The girls will fight all week and I'll be ready to ship them both off to boarding school by Tuesday. Oh well, just gotta get ready for the summer, right?

Thanks. A lady emailed me offering to help....well, help and go through my fabric while she was doing so (probably to get all she wanted for as close to free as possible), but I don't want to just "get rid of it". It's bad enough HHBG has to help. I've had a lot of people trying to take advantage of my needing to clear out, and I have gotten kind of pissy about it. I't s tens of thouseands of dollars worth of fabric, and HHBG and others act like it's no big deal, adn they are doing me a FAVOR by taking it off of my hands...

Ok, deep breaths. Is it Monday yet?

You wouldn't need to worry about me trying to get fabric from you. Sewing machines and I don't get along! My sewing consists of hot glue and staples. My son's boyscout badges are all hotglued onto their shirts.

I used the fabric glue but they fell off anyway!

I think I'm pretty caught up now! Angela, your sewing is amazing! My mom always sewed for me and does some stuff now for dd, as her arthritis allows. She made dd a Wendy dress for MNSSHP last year and it was so cute. I haven't sewed since college. I'm sorry you're getting rid of a lot of your fabric and having to deal with the yard sale thing. People (like my MIL !) think you should sell everything for a dime!

I hope your braces are doing better--man, you brought back painful memories for me! I do remember the braces wax was great for hanging up posters with; you know so you wouldn't put thumbtack holes in the panelling....just dated myself there. (40 ) I hope the pain from neuropathy is getting better, too. My dad has that from a stroke from some years back and when it hits, I know it is miserable and the doctors act like it's just something to put up with.

It's getting close to your trip! Very exciting!!

My mother sewed a lot, though not much for us...not enough time with 4 kids....and she never taught me (Says she thought I wasn't interested) I only taught myself to sew in college.

And I had some friends who did that until I introduced them to stitch witchery. It makes patches iron ons.

Sure, I'll tell you the total. $45 so far. OOOOooooooooo.....

We are going to the Poconos fr a week to get out of the house and use a timeshare week...they are piling up on us.

Thanks! I love to sew. (IIIIII Love to sew...Stitch stitch stitch stich.....long and fast and sound.....yes I love to sew......my clothes really get around! Reference anyone???)

A lot of people ar trying to take advantage, but I am on top of it. i reduced the price on some things, but I told HHBG to be relatively firm if people try to take advantage of him (we'll have two selling areas, there's so much)

The braces are better. When they removed the back hooks and put in the new ones, they stopped ripping up my mouth, and the cuts aremostly healed...and hopefully no more spacers. Thise arethe WORST!! I might need one more set, but they hurt like heck! Now, I just have to deal with the rubberbands snapping in my mouth a lot. And I will get invisalign when we are done with all of the rubberbands (in 3-4 months)

The neuropathy isn't so bad, since I now have meds for it. It is the "maintenance" meds that are causing me problems. And the stress.

i PROMISE to be cheerier after this fabric stuff is over!!
