Knott's on Friday in December?

Hey All! Going to DL/DCA/Knott's on Dec 8-10 (Wed-Fri). Have decided to do Knott's on Friday to get most time out of Disney parks. Anyone have experience with Knott's on a Friday in December? I have never been to the park and I am a roller coaster enthusiast so I am looking for short lines to experience all the rides several times. We will only be in the park from 10-430PM as we will have to leave for our flight back to AZ. Think it should be enough time?

December 10 is a "Toys for Tots" day - Knott's Berry Farm will be packed.

Thanks for the info. I saw that but was hoping since it was Friday during school and the hours were short it won't be too bad. Have you been to Knott's on a weekday during T for T to see the crowds? Thanks!

A Wednesday would be better but Friday should be good at that time. I did a Wednesday at that time in December and the coasters were walk ons. Tip for Accelerator don't wait for front row 20 minute wait, other line 5 min wait. Get the video from GhosterCoaster longest coaster ride anywhere. The kids area will be busy but the back of the park will be very sparse and that's where the good coasters are. Enjoy!

Thanks cbastedo! I would love to go on Wednesday but then that leaves DL and DCA on Friday, I think it would be better to do DL and DCA on Wed+Thursday and leave Knott's for Friday, just to better deal with crowds. I agree with your comment about waiting for the front car...it may be worth it once but that's about it. I'm a little confused on your comment about GhosterCoaster...what is that? I know they have video on the ride, is that what your talking about?

UPDATE: We went last Friday and it was AWESOME. Every coaster was walk on, Xcelerator front row had a 5-10 minute wait but that was it. I couldn't believe Silver Bullet was walk on all day. No one in the park, perfect weather, great day!

I was there last week during the TFT promotion, and the park was practically empty! I got to go on everything, multiple times, in some cases. Granted, I did go on a Thursday rather than on a Friday, but unless you're planning on being there after the schools let out for winter break, it shouldn't be too bad.
