I am thinking of doing Knott's Berry Farm while in Disney.

Did you like it?

How are the food prices?

I think I will add it on to my Disney trip without Trans. I figure I can get a taxi there. Looks really close to Candy Cane Inn.

What do you think??

If you have younger kids and enjoy the wild west or snoopy you will like it. I enjoyed it myself. However, having taken two senior classes on a trip to CA this was their least favorite for teenagers! There are not to many what I would call "wild rides", mostly low key rides. You would be much better off spending your money on six flags if you have teenagers. But include it if you have little ones they will like it. It's a much older park and shows in some areas...as thrill rides go.

Knott's Berry Farm is always a favorite :) If you go there you must have the Mrs. Knotts' Chicken Dinner!

I just got back this weekend and was surprised how much I liked it!!! It was decorated for KnottsScary farm but I thought the park looked really nice, was affordable all around, and had good food!!! As for thrill rides, I thought they actually could have used some slower rides too!!! :p They had several crazy roller coasters like Xcelerator and Ghost Rider and the Supreme Scream which is a 300 ft freefall!!!! They do have a logride and mineride!!!

i like knott's a lot. obviously not as much as DL, but i do go to knott's at least once a year.

i think there are a lot of thrill rides there. obviously not as many as six flags, which is almost all rollercoasters, but knott's has boomerang, montezooma's revenge, ghostrider, jaguar, supreme scream, the Xcelerator, Hammer Head, as well as a lot of carnival type rides.

besides that, there is camp snoopy (lots of rides for kids) and there are lots of the classic knott's rides from the past...the train (where "robbers" come on), kingdom of the dinosaurs, the mine train, plus the whole ghost town area. plus lots of other things.

if you go, you HAVE to eat at the chicken dinner restaurant or take-out counter for one meal- it was how knott's was founded! (they are located outside of the park, in a small shopping area.) there are lots of other places to eat as well.

I was pleasantly surprised with how much Knotts has improved. I have been to six flags and Knotts and I found Knotts to be more friendlier. I am also thinking of trying to squeeze in a day to Knotts just to ride "ghost rider" one more time.
And make sure that you eat the chicken dinner and buy a few jars of jam..yumm
