Knotts and transportation

We are staying at the Travelodge International and thinking about a trip to Knotts for a day. I know that the public transportation goes there. I just found out that GrayLineAnaheim gives free transportation and charges less for the ticket than the gate. How long does it take to get to the park using Grayline or would it be better to use pubic transportation or even rental car?

If you can walk a few blocks, it would be much cheaper to buy the tickets on the Knott's Berry Farm site and take Metro 460.

Tickets for adults are $34 for a limited time and I would look into the ART (Anaheim Resort Transit) for transportation. It travels from the Anaheim area I believe Harbor Blvd. to Knotts for $12 per adult (double check with your hotel that ART has a nearby bus stop. Ares travel also sells tickets for this. The Knotts tickets are print at home and these are the cheapest tickets that I have found so far.

ART route 18 is a joke (just look at this "schedule") - take Metro 460.
